River City Express Network was founded in 2001 to provide professional education and networking support to Richmond area business women who need a different kind of organization.

Their membership is diverse in age, industry and career level. They are executive officers, hold administrative and management positions and work as professional, technical and sales experts. About half are small business owners.

There are many benefits to joining the Express Network. In addition to networking and professional development opportunities, you can develop your business skills by working as a committee member or project team member. Participation will give you opportunities to practice the skills you already have and learn new skills to add to your resume. Serving as a network officer helps you develop leadership and team building skills that directly translate to your business and workplace.

The American Business Women’s Association has a strong tradition out to business women of diverse occupations. Since 1949 ABWA’s principal pursuit has been to help working women their paths to the top. We support women as they change the world.

New Visions, New Ventures (NVNV) was founded in 1998 and commenced formal operations in 1999 with a small entrepreneurial program for women in difficult life circumstances.  Rapid growth ensued and over the past ten years the organization has evolved into a comprehensive community economic development organization that has served over 4200 individuals from across the Commonwealth.
